- the frame in the CLEAN X1 V5 is the successor to its predecessor, the CLEAN X1 V4
- the frame is made of high quality 6061 T6 aluminium alloy with CNC parts made of 7075 T6
- tapered head tube for integrated 1-1/8″ – 1.5″ headset
- lower and upper frame tube welded to head tube via brace for added rigidity
- mounting for IDM rim brake 4-bolts
- IDM 4-bolt brake mounts are integrated more into the rear frame tubes
- brake mounts are seated in the frame tube to reduce stress and frame deflection during braking resulting in a firmer grip on the brake lever
- the frame is designed for standard bolt-on hub with 10mm axle (e.g. CLEAN X2 hubs)
- small horseshoe integrated in the rear frame structure for increased strength
- the frame is equipped with small grips for the rear brake hose line
- the frame has vertical dropouts which, combined with the roller chain tensioner, ensures that the rear wheel is always in the ideal position against the rim brake
- the frame is designed for a 68mm BSA bottom bracket with a standard 1.37 „x24tpi thread
